Sahin Omer’s journey is one of transformation and discovery. Born in Germany and educated in Turkey and Austria, he began his career teaching Mathematics and Geometry in rural schools. His academic path deepened with advanced studies in “Measurement and Evaluation in Psychology and Education” and “Statistics,” grounding him in rigorous analytical thinking.
But life had greater plans for Sahin. At the peak of his career as an internationally acclaimed photographer, a near-death experience (NDE) shattered his conventional understanding of existence. This profound event—a moment of clarity between life and death—propelled him into a relentless search for meaning, purpose, and truth.
With no prior spiritual inclination, Sahin embarked on a journey across Asia, seeking answers to the awakening triggered by his NDE. On only his second day in Bangkok, he met a revered Tibetan Buddhist monk, an encounter that would change everything. Recognized as an “enlightened being” by the master, Sahin left behind his successful career and comfortable life in Europe to live in a Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Years of deep meditation and silence in the Himalayas, India, and Nepal further expanded his awareness. Sahin immersed himself in the wisdom of ancient traditions—Zen, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christian mysticism, Kabbalah, and Sufism—while remaining true to his roots as a mathematician and skeptic. He explored the intersection of consciousness, physics, sacred geometry, and metaphysics, bridging science and spirituality with remarkable clarity.
